There were 349 M&A deals in Chile in 2021, worth nearly USD 18bn in aggregate, according to Transactional Track Record's annual M&A Report. 

The report provides an annual analysis of the Chilean landscape which shows the market's dynamic. It also presents a complete analysis correlating the market's most active sectors, as well as the most prominent transactions of the cross-border segment, which shows US-based companies were the ones which made the most acquisitions of Chile-based companies year to date. Regarding venture capital, technology companies were the most attractive for investors.
