The M&A market in Mexico registered a total of 74 deals in the 3Q17, of which 39 have a combined value of USD 6,2bm. These figures reflect a 2.63% decrease in the number of deal and a 19.12% decrease in the total amount, compared to 3Q16. Of the transactions recorded from July to September, 30 are considered small deals (less than USD 100m), 5 medium (between USD 100m and USD 500m) and 4 high valued-deals (USD 500m or above).
