Grupo Aeroméxico (BMX:AEROMEX.MX), a Mexico-based airline, hopes to kick off its joint venture with US-based Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) at the end of 2016, reported El Financiero on 1 March, 2016, citing Aeroméxico CEO Andrés Conesa. Conesa noted Aeroméxico is waiting to receive the authorization from US and Mexican regulatory authorities to materialize the transaction. He added the JV will allow the airlines to align their service networks and increase flight frequency. Aeroméxico and Delta requested the approval of Mexico's antitrust regulator Comisión Federal de Competencia Económica (COFECE) in May 2015 (see related intel).

Grupo Aeroméxico (BMX:AEROMEX.MX), aerolínea mexicana, espera dar inicio a su joint venture con la estadounidense Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) a fines de 2016, ha publicado El Financiero el 1 de marzo de 2016, citando al director general de Aeroméxico, Andrés Conesa. Conesa ha señalado que Aeroméxico está esperando la autorización de las autoridades regulatorias mexicanas y estadounidenses para concretar la transacción. Ha agregado que la joint venture le permitirá a las aerolíneas alinear sus redes de servicios y aumentar frecuencias de vuelos.
