Cofece autoriza alianza Aeroméxico-Delta Air Lines

Mexican antitrust regulator Comisión Federal de Competencia Económica (Cofece) authorized the alliance between airlines Grupo Aeroméxico (BMV:AEROMEX.MX), based in Mexico City, and Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL), based in Atlanta, announced Aeroméxico in a press release issued on 8 March 2017. Specifically, Cofece approved both the joint collaboration agreement between the airlines and the Public Takeover Offer (PTO) launched by Delta for Aeroméxico (see related transaction). The regulator noted the alliance was authorized after the airlines met the conditions it imposed. However, it added they must still meet other conditions for the authorization to be effective.

La Comisión Federal de Competencia Económica (Cofece) de México ha autorizado la alianza entre las aerolíneas Grupo Aeroméxico (BMV: AEROMEX.MX), con sede en la Ciudad de México, y Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL), con sede en Atlanta, ha anunciado Aeroméxico en una nota de prensa publicada el 8 de marzo de 2017. En concreto, la Cofece ha aprobado tanto el Acuerdo de Colaboración Conjunta entre las aerolíneas con la Oferta Pública de Adquisición (OPA) lanzada por Delta sobre Aeroméxico (ver transacción relacionada). La Cofece ha aprobado la alianza luego de que las aerolíneas cumplieran con las condiciones que les había impuesto. No obstante, ha añadido que aún deben cumplir otras condiciones para que la autorización sea efectiva. |
