Mexico registered 23 M&A operations in January, according to research firm Transactional Track Record, with 13 transactions disclosing deal value totaling US$1.72bn.

While the number of operations was down from the 28 recorded in January 2018, total reported deal value was 40% higher than the same month a year before.
