The ranking of legal consulting and advisory firms in Portugal for the main operations in the M&A, Venture Capital, Private Equity and Asset Acquisition sectors for the first two months of 2024 was released by TTR Data, a data intelligence company based in Madrid. According to the report, Portugal registered 107 investment transactions, resulting in a total value of 1,849 million euros.

For the first two months of 2024, investments in Portugal were divided into Mergers & Acquisitions with 41 transactions totaling 502 million euros, Asset Acquisitions with 29 transactions totaling 842 million euros, Venture Capital with 29 transactions totaling 85 million euros, and Private Equity with eight transactions totaling 420 million euros.

The sectors that attracted the most investments in Portugal was the Real Estate sector with 20 transactions, followed by the Internet, Software & IT Services sector with 15 transactions.

The main investment by value of transaction in Portugal for the month of February 2024 was the acquisition by Rainergy of four mini-hydro plants in the north of Portugal, owned by Mirova, with a transaction value of 39.45 million euros.
