In July, mergers and acquisitions in Latin America have yielded positive results regarding the total amount of investment, which registered an 81.1% year-on-year increase, reaching USD 21.955bn.
Two of the most prominent transactions this month were US-based TerraForm Global's acquisition of a group of oil assets in Brazil for USD 4.262bn and Mexico-based IENova's purchase agreement to acquire Gasoductos Chihuahua from Pemex for USD 1.325bn.
