Deal making fell 11% by volume and 42% by aggregate value across Latin America in 2022 compared with 2021, according to the annual M&A report on the region published by TTR Data. Brazil led the region both by deal volume and by aggregate value year-to-date, followed by Mexico, and then Chile in both respects; Colombia ranked fourth, followed by Argentina and, lastly, Peru, among the top six M&A markets regionally.
