Brazilian Government plans auction of airports and highways this year

Minister of Planning Neloson Barbosa said, in a corporate conference at the Chamber of Commerce France-Brazil in São Paulo that the concession and infrastructure projects will resume this year, mainly the highway and airport auctions. According to the Minister, until the end of April, the Government will announce which highways will be auctioned, as well as railways. The auction period is still undetermined, but it is estimated for the first semester of 2015.

O Ministro do Planejamento, Nelson Barbosa, afirmou durante uma palestra a empresários na Câmara de Comércio França-Brasil, em São Paulo, que os programas de concessões em infraestrutura serão retomados neste ano, em especial, os leilões de rodovias e aeroportos. Segundo o Ministro, até o fim de abril, o governo pretende anunciar as rodovias que serão leiloadas e o mesmo vale para ferrovias, está sendo decidido quando lançar a licitação, e o mais provável é que seja para o primeiro semestre. |
