Ferroglobe (NASDAQ:GSM), a UK-based metal producer controlled by Group Villar Mir, appointed Javier López Madrid president, reported Europa Press on 2 January 2017, citing company sources. López Madrid is Grupo Villar Mir CEO and so far held the position of vice-president of Ferroglobe. The Spanish executive replaced Alan Kestenbaum. The appointment is made according to plan, given the agreement between the company's partners stipulates the relay in the presidency within a maximum period of two years.

Ferroglobe (NASDAQ:GSM), empresa británica dedicada a la producción de metales cuyo accionista de control es el Grupo Villar Mir, ha nombrado a Javier López Madrid nuevo presidente, según ha informado Europa Press el 2 de enero de 2017, citando a fuentes de la empresa. López Madrid es consejero delegado del Grupo Villar Mir y hasta el momento ocupaba el cargo de vicepresidente de Ferroglobe. El directivo español sustituirá a Alan Kestenbaum. Este nombramiento se realiza de acuerdo a lo previsto, ya que en el acuerdo entre los socios de la compañía figura el relevo en la presidencia en un plazo máximo de dos años. |
